World Folk Music Ottawa presents a collaborative musical written by Jacqui Du Toit, with choreography by Jewne L. Johnson, and musical direction by Jamaal Rogers. With support from the City of Ottawa, the Ottawa Community Foundation, and the Bronson Hub Team, this musical is sure to delight people of all ages!
A diverse group of Ottawa youth will tell the story of Anansi the Spider and the origin of the moon in the sky. Joining them on the stage will be seniors from different organizations, who will sing and share stories from their own folklore. Tickets will go on sale on Eventbrite in Septemeber. |

You will learn tips on creating successful collaborations and how to propose your project to potential partners, and how collaborations might make immigrant/refugee artists become more prominent and successful in Ottawa. This is a great opportunity to meet other artists and network.
